Louise Brennan

Director and Four Year Old Teacher - Red Group


Louise Brennan says she thoroughly enjoys her job as kindergarten teacher. “I find it extremely rewarding and satisfying to see the children leave kinder to join the school community as confident, independent enthusiastic learners.”


Louise Brennan has been a part of Livingston Kindergarten community since 2007. “It is a great job,” says Louise. “I love coming to work with happy enthusiastic children.”


Louise has a wealth of experience working at kindergartens, primary schools, residential care homes and under five centres.  Originally hailing from the UK, Louise trained as a Nursery Nurse (NNEB) and then as a teacher, completing her BEd (hons) in 1993 in England before emigrating to Australia.


Louise enjoys bringing lots of variety to the class. “I enjoy doing lots of different activities with children such as cooking, science experiments and planting vegetables in the garden.”


Emma Williams

Emma has been working in early childhood for the last 5 years in a range of early childhood settings, completing her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education in 2014.


Throughout her time in early childhood education she has worked as a qualified assisant, a room leader and a kindergarten teacher.  After completing her Degree she worked as a relief primary school classroom teacher before taking on her role at Livingston Kindergarten.


Emma believes in developing a child centred program which extends on children's learning and by extending a child's learning through play it becomes more meaningful.  Her goal as an educator is to develop a love for learning for the children which they can take with them throughout their entire education.


Kirsty Lindsay

Four Year Old Teacher - Green Group


Kirsty Lindsay began teaching at Livingston in 2012, after completing her degree at The University of Melbourne in 2011. Originally from Brisbane, teaching was a career change for Kirsty, she previously managed a busy restaurant. 


Kirsty is active within the Bayside teaching network, connecting with other professionals and is passionate about providing the best learning outcomes for all children especially those with additional needs, and those who are at risk or vulnerable. Building relationships with children and their families is central to supporting the best outcomes for children and this is a priority for Kirsty across her programme and practice.

Wednesday Livcare Educator


Tina joined  Livingston Kindergarten in January 2013 after working as a chef for 15 years and training and development manager.  Tina began her career in Early Childhood Education when she obtained her Diploma of Early Childhood Education.


As a recent graduate Tina is familiar with the new frameworks across the Early Years Education, which is reflected in her teaching and interaction when exploring the learning environment from all aspects based on children’s needs and interest. Tina has a particular interest in children’s social and emotional development; specifically in the way children communicate their needs with their peers.


Tina lived in Queensland for 10 years, however she grew up locally in Hampton where she lives now with her son Ben. Tina says she loves a laugh, as she is a big kid at heart who loves surfing and tennis.  


Kathleen Abbotts

Four year old Assistant Educator - Red Group


Kathleen began working at Livingston in 2013 where she worked with the 4 year old Blue Group and in the extended care programme.


Kathleen emigrated from the UK in 2006 and has always had a passion to work in the early childhood industry and undertook her studies to obtain her Certificate III and her Diploma of Children's Services in 2013.  She has had valuable experience across several early childhood workplace settings which has provided her with a great knowledge of the early childhood frameworks (EYLDF) and quality standards which she believes enhances her ability to provide the best care for the children.


Kathleen loves the funny things that children say, their energy and enthusiasm in their quest for learning.  She believes part of her role is to nuture each child to help them feel safe and supported in their own right so that they can grow in confidence and develop skills that will help them to become self sufficient and thrive in adult life whilst also having fun.


Glenda Jones

Three Year old Assistant Educator - Yellow & Orange Groups

Assistant Educator LivCare

Glenda joined the team at Livingston in mid 2013, having worked previously as a bank manager before leaving to raise her two children.  Now her children are in secondary school, Glenda decided to pursue her passion in Early Childhood Education and is currently studying her Certificate III in Childrens Services.


Glenda loves seeing the joy on small childrens' faces when they achieve something new, finish a puzzle for the first time, make a friend or play a game. Glenda loves to read to the children and you will often find her in a chair with many children climbing all over her as they listen to her wonderful story telling.
